Summary
This project has provided 315 Solar Street Lights in three most needy villages namely Mannur, Nemily, Papparambakkam and Irungattukottai. Through this project there are more than 800 – 1000 families will be benefited to people who live in small huts/thatched houses without any light during their struggle for existence in life. They depend on daily wages and labour work and their earnings are very meager. Project helps to overcome from their darkness.
Project Goals
Solar street lighting offers a sustainable and cost-effective solution for outdoor illumination, contributing to energy conservation, environmental protection, and improved quality of life in urban and, in particular, remote areas that don’t have access to a conventional electrical grid.
INSPECTION & BRANDING
The project has been carefully monitored by the entire CSR team of Glovis. Each and every stage inspected by the CSR executive to make sure the quality and no compromise on any product deviation. Each and every poles have given numbers by the filed officer by the NGO. Branding of GIN has been fixed on each and every pole .
